Throughout my time at Autosport I was regularly responsible for producing print ready artwork for covers and features in Autosport, F1 Racing and Motorsport News magazines. Here I have highlighted just a small number of projects found in Autosport through 2017 – 2019.

Prior to it’s introduction in 2018, the highly controversial Halo safety device grabbed the headlines. With very little information at the time on the actual implementation we produced renders from all angles for the cover and a special feature.

With the announcement that Aston Martin will bid for outright honours at the Le Mans 24 Hours with its Valkyrie hypercar, we rapidly built and rendered this series of concept images to support articles in print, social and web. Only one official illustration was released 24 hours before the official announcement, so in that time we bought, remodeled, textured and rendered these images ready for press release.

Porsche is an incredibly popular manufacturer in the motorsport world and pundits are constantly speculating on a return of the brand to F1. As rumors pop up throughout the years, we mocked up this concept livery to discuss a potential return.

In special issues of Autosport Magazine, they produce a Performance Supplement focusing on the more technical side of the sport. In this issue, we provided the cover and feature artwork throughout.

In the build-up to every F1 season, fans are excited to see what the new regulations will bring to the aesthetics of the cars. Each year we mocked up a cover and feature to take fans through the updates, regularly proving to be one of the fastest-selling issues of the year.

In advance of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the editors wanted to write up and introductory feature for those new endurance racing. We provided 3D renders for angles of their choosing to complement the discussion points.

Thank You
